Also corrected typo, my system has a SSD and not a SSHD which I posted originally. I recently started creating a new Microsoft Windows 10 Build 1809 image at a client (happens to be the LTSC flavor, but that’s not relevant here). I then rebooted an and re-ran the updated, it was slow compared to my other system with the SSD. Update: The resolution for me was to use the System System Configuration dialog box and select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and select Disable all. Both system are UEFI, I guess I'll try again tomorrow with the ISO method

#WINDOWS 10 1809 ISO DEC UPDATE#
For your information, the version number of Windows 10 November 2021 Update is 21H2. Its a new version or feature update of Windows 10 operating system which comes with new features, changes, improvements and bug fixes. This has been going on for over 2 hours so I guess its safe to say it stuck in a loop. Microsoft has released the new Windows 10 November 2021 Update to public. WHT how does it go from installing back to downloading then Preparing to install. The laptop Status keeps changing from downloading to installing and the it reverted back to downloading and now the Status is Preparing to install. PC #2 (the ASRock) installed the update with no problem and now has build 1809 installed. I started the updates at the same time and both systems. The ASRock has an SSD and DVD player/writer. PC #2 is an ASRock ITX system I built a few weeks ago weeks for low power consumption running Win10 Pro to replace another desktop system. My PC #1 is a big box store HP Laptop with I assume the traditional hard drive and Win10 Home.
